Original artwork description:

The work is my attempt to weave light and colours ,aiming at the feelings of contemplation and meditative calm. The blue seems almost mysterious in person because of the numerous layers of glazes on it .

My interest is in transcending ordinary living in search of higher levels of consciousness . I paint the moments of awareness from an inner transcendent shift which brings us to the threshold of the divine . Solid ,luminous deep set colours are visual equivalents of my spiritual sense .My works are attempts to rescue the optimism of a sense of higher purpose of life from the pessimism of a meaningless physical world of matter .
