Arne in the Autumn mist
Pale silvery blue and soft dove grey sky,
Distant Purbeck hills,
The trees and bracken are coated in copper shades with hints of yellow gorse appearing,
I’m immersed in wild nature,
Relaxing and peaceful.

Words and thoughts of a very special landscape that I am so fond of.
Original impressionist watercolour on bockingford tinted, cold pressed acid free watercolour paper 300 gsm 140 lb.
A small watercolour created from my feelings , visual experience of being there and walking the area.
I used a three colour technique, wet on wet background and used a pressing technique for the trees and detail of the bracken in the foreground.
