Original artwork description:

This work was inspired by the sculpture "Sleeping Ariadne". I had visited the Uffizi Museum during the Florence Biennale 2017 in which I was exhibiting. I loved the great skill of the Greco-Roman Sculptures and wished to create an image from it. When I was invited to exhibit at the Basilica di San Lorenzo this gave me the perfect opportunity to show my respect to the Florentine artist.
