I discovered that Pen can be used on Velum. Ball point pen is a super under rated medium, the amount of detail that you can achieve is almost as great a the pencil.
The idea of a composition and a theme, or multiple characters all interconnected to me within the frame has always intrigued me.
One having to do with the other and so on...the idea that one has effect on the other from across the page through contact with some one closer as in life has a composition and theory that keeps my mind turning...
A simple idea, the idea of karma, the idea that we effect one another not even through direct contact thats's exciting!
Using that string, that connection, link in an contradicting way at times.
One not making sense in a realistic way yet when strung does some how work.
How can it not! It's right there!
Creating a story that no matter what way we turn it or hang it still makes sense.

This group of works were created on -Vellum-(is translucent plastic or paper in thin sheets that can be clear, white, or coloured,being thin enough to allow light through.)
The idea that with this medium is exciting, if one wishes to hang or to allow light to pass through you can or if you wish it can be mounted with any colour backing and a hint of that will come through. I love this surface to create on.
You can hang or fastened to glass (window) or hang in a light box.
