Europe's north. The hidden secrets of Norway's Arctic, the midnight sun and its awesome natural landscapes. A reminder of clean air, where colours and contours come alive, where nature thrives and where we truly feel part of a grandeur sense of being. A wave of my childhood memories in Canada resurged after 2 months spent in this glorious nordic country.

This painting is done in ink and acrylic on canvas with a UV protective varnish, my brushstrokes echoing the rugged textures of this untamed landscape. The artwork is somewhat reminiscent of the Lofoten Islands, a particularly splendid and mystical part of the Arctic. The work is signed on the front and back of the canvas.

I hope to inspire others to celebrate these untouched corners of our world and bring these silent whispers of the Arctic into their home.
