Original artwork description:

Two figures at rest, one prone side on, one with closed eyes seated on the left of scene. The top third of the canvas is a cosmic scene, faint spheres, bright points in a dark field. The figures are taken from found imagery and repurposed in the role of transcendent beings, either silently planning and communicating between themselves... or simply idling - paying little to no attention to their surroundings. The painting is an externalisation of the spiritual question: who, if anyone is in charge here, and what is their plan for me? Do they even have a plan? Is it externally controlled or simply a natural-scientific system playing out. The painting asks the question because there is no solid answer. Everyone has their own answer, and perhaps that is the point.
