This one goes back to my time living in Vancouver B.C., Canada
My paintings in that period were done on location, in one session, without preliminary sketches nor any working lines on the paper. This is paint applied directly on a blank page.
The paper is thick, about 300gm weight, from the Gandhi co-op industries in India. It’s a fascinating discovery of art paper I discovered in India at that time. It’s a very interesting handmade paper to work with.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
The amazing ink remains as bright as the day I did the painting.
