Original artwork description:

Based on the principles of Islamic design, how color and design relate to create tension and movement in the picture plane. I have always tried to increase the hold of a picture on the eye, to make work that does not require explanation but still retains the ability to compel contemplation.

With this series I tried to introduce an element of improvisation into the construction process. I like to think of it as arab jazz.

Materials used:

Thick industrial paper with acyllic spray.
