Original artwork description:

This Mixed Media piece was created over a 3-year period and it finally came to a restful conclusion. What started out as a wood construct and a rectangular format, was then cut down to a square and a year after that became a circle. Most of my pieces go through some sort of metamorphosis until they reach their final form. Sure, I would love to create something in a few hours and be done with it, but sometimes the caterpillar needs to change, and change drastically in some cases.
I am glad I stuck with this one and let it become what it was always supposed to be.
