Kneeling by the golden sand, this Aquarius in her blue water cloak is pouring rainbow coloured water from her fingertips.
Although Aquarius is an Air Sign it is known as The Water Carrier and covers birthdays of those born from Jan 20-Feb 18

I love illustrating the Astrology signs and have done three complete sets of 12 images frequently through my career:
First for Cosmopolitan (UK) Horoscope page throughout 1990 (republished in Spanish and Australian editions 1992)
Second for a company called Aura Soma in my Book Goddesses for the Millennium (a collector's piece online)
Third for myself (all twelve small paintings in a private collection in Northern Ireland)

This image is painted on beautiful grey/blueIndian handmade acid-free paper with a deckled edge.
I have used Winsor & Newton professional watercolours, gold gouache and highlights are in Caran d'Ache pencil.
The deckled edge of the paper may be left visible in the frame ('floated') - a few of my buyers have written back saying they liked that idea.
