Original artwork description:

This aquamarine cluster is painted using lots of thin layers of acrylic inks on a synthetic paper called 'Yupo'. It results in a very vibrant and smooth image, with many thin tiny layers in the link which are created by the way the ink dries on this special paper. These layers remind me of the lines on a topographical map.

It takes me a long while to paint using this medium as the drying time is very long between each layer of ink as the paper absorbs no liquid, but the end result is wonderful.

This piece will be shipped with a simple white textured mount and backing board, you can remove the mount if you don't need it, or frame the piece right away in a bought frame.

Materials used:

Acrylic inks on synthetic paper.
