Original artwork description:

Spring sketch in the Kaluga region, painted from life on the Serena River in April. The first greenery is already appearing and a delicate green colors both the ground and the trees. Bright light blinds softening the contrast, but the ornament of trees and branches plays with its rhythm, attracting the eye. Looking at the distant coast for a long time, which plunges into a violet-blue haze, you can already hear the singing of birds and the croaking of frogs. Butterflies often fly by and land quite close.
