Original artwork description:

Approaching Tobermory 3 is part of a tryptich that would work well placed together either horizontally or vertically. Inspired by the play of light, colour and reflections from the landscape and sky on the movement of water while sailing around the Western Isles of Scotland in 2012. This offered creative possibilities not found on land as shape and colour became scattered and fragmented. I mixed all the colours from a primary base working intuitively towards a harmonious outcome. It is placed in a bespoke well made contemporary box style frame.
