Original artwork description:

January near Leeds. Strongly influenced by the seasons and weather, work that I create in January is generally more contemplative, slightly melancholy in the damp dark weather with short daylight hours.

From my series of railway landscapes in northern England, this painting of the outside of Leeds shows the slowing down of the train and also the slowing down of my process. My attention was drawn to the colour and pattern on the shed doors, contrasting with the grey sky and surroundings.

On stretched canvas with wooden stretcher frame so it will hang without an additional frame. Fixings provided.
