We made our way down to Smirisary beach. The path was steep in places and as it wound around the coast there were cool ravines lined with bracken. Poking through the bracken were these two beautiful foxgloves.
If you have ever visited the West coast of Scotland you will know that the water is crystal clear and a beautiful turquoise blue when the sun shines. Dotted around the landscape are other wild flowers - we saw yellow flag iris, sea thrift and ragged robin.
The painting is all ready to hang in a white 'floating' frame.
