Original artwork description:

Painting " Apples. Russian patterns " original picture
"Russian shawl" is a painstaking work, talent of artists, masters of weaving and painting. In the colorful compositions of shawls, you can see the traditions of folk art: carved patterns of Windows of houses, embroidery on towels and clothes, painting icons.
This beautiful black handkerchief came to me from my husband's mother. It's from her grandmother. It's so old it's got holes in it. I carefully sewed them up with beads. Then she embroidered the pattern of the handkerchief with beads. For me, this handkerchief is not old but with a history. I keep it carefully.
The idea for this picture came to me quite spontaneously. When I came home with apples in the winter. The image of this picture appeared in my mind as if it had already been painted. I spread my handkerchief on the snowdrift and poured out the apples. I ran home to get my camera…
Apples are drawn very realistically. There is painstaking work and love in every inch of this picture. A picture with a piece of rich Russian culture. I believe that it will take its rightful place in your home.
The picture is 19,7 х 27,5 х 0,6 inches painted with professional oil paints on canvas (canvas on a stretcher). The painting is sold without a frame. As a gift for you, I will put fasteners. The ends of the picture are painted, you can hang it on the wall without a frame. I carefully and very carefully pack all my paintings before sending them.
A certificate of authenticity is also attached to the picture.
Thank you for being interested in my art.
Sincerely, artist Natalia Zhukova.
