This watercolor painting was created in my garden in Ukraine, among the sprawling apple trees that have been growing here for years. The summer sun filtered through the leaves, casting a magical play of light and shadow that I wanted to capture. In the foreground, a branch with an apple is just beginning to ripen, symbolizing the abundance of nature and the passage of time.

I painted this piece right at home, in a place filled with memories and warmth. I wanted to convey not just an image of an apple tree but the atmosphere of peace and familiarity from childhood. The cool blue shades in the background contrast with the warm greens and oranges of the leaves and fruit, highlighting nature’s harmony.
