About this painting:
In 2018 I was invited by the director of the Attleboro Arts Museum to be a part of the "MESA" exhibition. “Mesa: Tables Constructed with Five Skies Overhead,” an invitational exhibition featuring 3D and 2D tables inspired by Attleboro’s Big Read of Ron Carlson’s novel “Five Skies.” All invited artists had to come up with paintings that would represent tables described in the novel. I’d like to say that I love participating in the Invitational Exhibitions because they give an additional motivation and purpose to think and create. For me it’s always interesting to see what I can come up with after reading a book or being inspired by a certain theme. it’s fascinating and creative adventure. I think many artists would agree with me here. At the opening reception all exhibiting artists were awarded with Certificate of Recognition for their creative talent so I was one of them. I am glad and feel honored to be recognized and exhibited in this show along with other 15 amazing artists whose work I admire. I hope you like my painting as well and it will find a new home soon. Thank you.
