"Apple & Bosc Pear - Zorn Palette" is a painting I did as a demonstration of the versatility of the Zorn palette. The colors used in this palette are Black, Yellow Ochre (a dull, earthy yellow), and Red, plus white. The sides of the painting are painted in the same greys as the background allowing, if you choose, the painting to be hung without the need of a frame. This is unwired. I would hang this kind of painting with a pair of nails and allow the painting's stretcher bars to rest on the nails.

I primarily paint small, intimate works that are priced for affordability, and can be placed in any setting.

This comes unframed but should fit in a standard frame. One way that I often display my work is with a beautiful mat and then framed giving the piece more presence. For a more casual look I like to sit an unframed piece up on a shelf or side table.

People describe my work as calming and soothing the soul. I hope each of my pieces does that for you.

The painting will be varnished, wrapped in waxed paper, and packing material to prevent damage. I try to use recycled materials whenever possible in shipping.

Because all computer screens are calibrated differently, colors may differ on different monitors. Most paintings have much more nuanced colors in person. I want you to be totally happy with your paintings, so of course, if you aren't, you are welcome to return it.
