Still life Apple #14

The beginning of a new series where I am exploring a modern pop art visual. Starting with a layered background using acrylic paints. It has a glaze of gold to had a faint shimmer. Once the background is complete I paint the subject. Giving it 100%. No shadow or table top. Nothing too typical I want to stay modern.

The painting will fit in any frame designed for an 8 x 10 inch (20 x 25 cm) as seen in the display photos. Taken with the glass out the linen board is a perfect fit.
