In this artwork I combine oil, collage, spray and chalk to create an expressionistic, semi-abstract painting. It is a passionate play of colours and shapes that come together to depict the power and beauty of emotions. At the centre is Aphrodite, the goddess of love, who in mythology is responsible for sensual and celestial love. She is embedded in delicate colours and moving forms, surrounded by huge flowers and gestural brushstrokes.
