The Greek Goddess Aphrodite was the Goddess of love and beauty.

She is especially associated with the islands of Cyprus, Cythera and Kos.

A Water Goddess, she was said to have been created from the foam of the sea.

This Goddess did not originate from Greece she was worshipped in the Eastern Mediterranean as an early mother Goddess figure.

This brand new ink and watercolour and painting, with acrylic and is created on thick handmade Khadi paper, the edges of the paper are rough and not straight, illustrating its handmade nature. And is mounted on a canvas, this is ready to be hung, or you can get it framed.

The inks and watercolours are worked into with water sprays and brushes, and overlaid with acrylic paint, the image is built up in layers.

This Original painting size is 21x29cm, and the paper is mounted on to a stretched canvas. The painting is ready to hang as it is, or can be framed.
