Original artwork description:

As an artist, I am particularly interested in still-lifes that highlight the everyday items of consumer culture. These works have the power to resonate with a wide audience, just as Andy Warhol's iconic images did.

In my current series, I have focused on the wine glass as my central subject. This object holds a multitude of meanings in today's world, and I strive to capture its positive connotations within the context of modern consumerism.

As our world becomes increasingly volatile, the wine glass serves as a reminder of joyful moments shared with loved ones. It is a symbol of celebration and positivity, and I aim to preserve its special, magical quality rather than allowing it to become mundane.

The artwork is signed on the back and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.

I am taking extra care to photograph the paintings in a way that most accurately represents the color, textures and size of a painting. However the images you see online, may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings.

Materials:
My paintings are made with professional quality acrylic and oil paints (Golden, Schmincke, Winsor & Newton, Amsterdam, Cobra).
