Not far from my town in the village of Malaya Antonovka, I saw a flock of sheep, and this motif greatly inspired me to create a series of works. I created this triptych under the impression of sheep, which were lined up in a row on the pasture and peacefully chewed grass. Tall reeds along the edge of the pasture created something like a fence. Behind the reeds, the endless fields of Ukraine spread out. Somewhere it was restless... But here, in the little world of sheep, it was warm and cozy.
