The unflappable sculpture of Antinous has long attracted my attention. The life story of this Greek youth is very interesting. He lived in the years 110-130. There is not much information about his biography. The death of the young man was mysterious. After his death, the cult of the deification of Antinous began. Statues of Antinous were created, his images were printed on coins, the city of Antinople was even founded in his honor in Egypt. Then for some time the story of Antinous was forgotten. But in the Renaissance, thanks to the interest in antiquity, the Greek youth again gained fame. Images of Antinous again began to appear in art. And still it is considered a symbol of youthful beauty.
