Original artwork description:

I started painting these anthuriums in March 2022. We left Kyiv with only one palette, a single sheet of paper and a few brushes.

Dividing the sheet in half, I started to work, I painted flowers, and they, in turn, gave me hope and inspiration to be strong and brave. Not to lose myself as an artist.

The work was finished in six months, and 2 years later it was selected for an exhibition of botanical art that took place in Kyiv at the National Museum of Natural Sciences in October-December 2024.

It is a very cheerful and strong work that will decorate and emphasise any interior.

Materials used:

Watercolor
