On a recent trip through the south western United States, I came to Antelope Canyon, near Page, Arizona. One of America's premier slot canyons, fashioned by thousands of years of water erosion, Antelope Canyon is one of the most spectacular natural phenomenons. However, due to the nature of the location and it's low light, the canyon itself is extremely difficult to photograph.
The shot itself is looking up towards one of the naturally occurring portals and illustrates the beautiful texture and dynamic shaping of the canyon. The print is on Archival Hahnemuhle Fine Art Paper and shows in great detail the tone and character of one of the worlds most stunning sights.
