This artwork is called, "Another COWBOY CHRISTMAS!". The holidays are coming up soon and I always miss Mom and Dad at Christmas because they loved that season so much. This is also a tribute to a similar painting I did years ago that went to a special family member. This one is a 18 x 24 large acrylic painting that depicts a cowboy fixing up a Christmas tree in a snow covered field somewhere in the mid-west. He chooses a place under a wonderful star filled sky. A million shades of blue abound as the northern lights pulsate above his cabin. He does this for his parents... who have passed. Christmas is just not the same without them, so each year he decorates a tree in the field for them. Decorated in candles and ornaments his Mother made by hand. This one is also a dedication to my own parents who have also passed. They loved the road from Montana through Wyoming and Canada to Alaska. This scene is for them! You can see a somber story in this painting. His tracks can be seen from his cabin across the field and up the hill where decorates the tree. A box of ornaments with MOM written on the box is nearby. His horse has a Christmas blanket his mom made for him. He always rides his horse without a saddle during Christmas. His tree topper is the three crosses of Calvary. In the sky above the tree is a star recognizing his efforts. In the area in front of his cabin you can see where he has erected the three crosses of Calvary near a large bonfire.... their shadows stretching out across the snow covered hills. We will be putting this one on our On-line stores in the next few days.

All large size paintings that are international orders will be removed from the wood frame, rolled up and shipped in a shipping tube. You will have to have it reframed.
