This acrylic is a remake of a watercolor I did last year. It depicts a grandfather, Papaw, walking hand in hand with his grandchildren in the backyard, where they spy a deer at the edge of the woods. He tells them the story about that shack that has stood abandoned since the olden days. This painting is inspired by the backyard of my dearly departed Father-in-law, where this old log shack exists. It lies in a small community called Sycamore, just outside of Elkhorn City, in Pike county Kentucky. This painting is dedicated to all the Papaws and Granpas that love to play with their grandchildren... as did my dear Father-in-law.

This painting is sold UNFRAMED. I have included a picture of it framed as well as a conceptual pic that will give you a better idea what it will look like when you have it hanging it on a wall framed in your own frame. The conceptual pics are also great for size representation.
