All four seasons laid bare in the woodland.
This is the latest work in my lovely Birchwood series and inspired by a desire to explore the notion of the passage of time. With fiery colours when golden evening light shines on the forest and lights it up in the autumn and the carpet of violet when bluebells burst into bloom in spring. From the dark green canopy of summer shading the forest floor and the icy chill of clear blue skies and snow on the ground.
