This print contains a few of the animals that you can see wandering around in the landscape of The Netherlands. Most of them on the farm or in a paddock, but some of them in the wild. I have been lucky enough to see them all, even the badger.

One evening we went out with a befriended park ranger to see them come out of their burrow around sunset. Badgers have a bad eye-sight, but have a good sense of smell. To be able to get close to them we had to smell neutral and, of course, sit very still. This was particularly difficult because of the mosquito's, who wanted to feast upon us. All in all an unforgettable experience.

Materials used:

Canson Infinity Rag Photographique 310 gsm, which is a 100% cotton museum grade white Fine Art paper. It has been developed for the continued longevity requirements in the Digital Fine Art market. Epson archival inks are used for the print.
