In this creation, I've channeled the raw forces of emotion and metaphor through the tactile mediums of wax and oils. The duality of the deep black and vibrant red represents the perpetual dance between despair and hope. The feather, a symbol of fragile freedom, drifts across, suggesting resilience amidst chaos. It's not just a painting; it's an experience of contrast and reconciliation, meant to evoke reflection and infuse a dynamic energy into any space where it's displayed.
This is an Encaustic abstract painting over a hardboard panel. The painting size is 69 x 75 x 3.5 cm.. Encaustic is a wax based paint composed of beeswax, damar resin for elasticity and pigment or oil paint, which is kept molten on a heated palette. When It's applied to the surface with brushes then it's reheated again in order to fuse the paint, bringing the colors into a harmonious composition.
