Original artwork description:

Anemones are among my favourite flowers and a subject I have returned to many times. In this small painting I have included an element of paper collage down the right side. This is taken from a letter written in French during the Second World War. I think it balances the composition nicely and adds interest and even intrigue!

This painting could be paired with 'Anemones II' ( seen in one of the photographs). This listing is for one painting only but if you'd like to buy both drop m a message and I can combine the shipping cost.

Painted in oils using high quality Michael Harding paint on canvas board. It is initialled on the front and signed on the back.
