This is a large scale mixed media work on heavy weight water colour paper, starting with collage and monoprinting, followed by layers of acrylic, spray paint and marker pens. The nature of working on paper always makes me smile, it reacts to materials and sometimes behaves badly, all of which add to the painting. There is some buckling although the paper was primed with clear gesso at some stage, potentially it could be flattened out, the artist would keep the ripples in. And there are staple holes.
The painting will require framing, that is not something the artist is able to do here due to the dimensions, the stairs, and the size of the door.
