Story about the painting:
"Perhaps no event in human history influenced the course of history as intensively and for such a long time as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
For more than 2.4 billion Christians, which by the way is the most widespread religion in the world, Christ's suffering on the cross symbolizes redemption from their sins and their hope for eternal life.
For almost 2 millennia, the crown of thorns has been a symbol of suffering and pain, but also of sacrifice for others.
However, it was not only this primary idea that inspired me to paint this work of art.
In addition to her, I also wanted to connect our own lives with her, in which each of us also experiences difficult moments of pain, suffering and hopelessness. Yes, there are moments in life when life seems unbearable, we are desperate and do not see the light at the end of the tunnel...
Maybe that's how Jesus Christ felt when he was nailed to the cross in unbearable pain.
Like him, we too must be strong, not give up and persevere, no matter what difficult situation we find ourselves in. Even if it is sometimes extremely difficult, we must believe that everything that happens to us has a meaning and that what does not kill us will make us stronger..."
