One day in summer we drove to Kilcoy over the Wivenhoe Somerset Road in Queensland, Australia. All the grass was dried out and colored yellow.

Nevertheless, the landscape was intriguing and I made my first sketches at home. Over a period of 8 weeks I finished the painting.

To lower the shipping costs this painting can be unstretched and rolled in a tube. When shipped in a cardboard box, the painting will be protected by thin layers of wooden panel.
