An acrylic painting measuring 40 x 40 cm and painted on MDF canvas board.
'And In Comes Spring..,' captures a wee scene from my livingroom during the long winter months when the addition of a wee vase of flowers is a reminder that brighter and longer days are just around the corner.
Painted in layers of acrylic paint and glaze medium., rubbing back to reveal previous layers of colour. The texture is achieved by drawing into gesso.

Acrylic paint, acrylic medium glaze, gesso, charcoal.
