Title: AND I STILL DREAM II
Size: 100 x 160 cm | 39.4 x 63 in
Sides: not painted but with paint from the painting process
Frame: unframed
Signature: front an verso, also signed Certificate of Authenticity
Year: 2025
Medium: acrylic / mixed media on raw canvas
Varnish: silky finish
Other: Perhaps it was the expectation of the first delicate green in nature that made me choose green when starting this work.
Nevertheless, green symbolizes more; it is not for nothing that it is also the color of hope. It's about holding on to dreams, not stopping hoping and believing. Of the good in other people, of love, of happiness. And I still dream.
This work was started together with another canvas the same size, intentionally as a triptych. During the process I decided to separate them, one as a work on its own ("AND I STILL DREAM") while these two were finsihed as a diptych.
Acrylic / mixed media
