Magnus Gjoen is an exciting contemporary artist known for modern takes on old masterpieces, and for transforming items typically associated with death into striking works of art.

In this piece, Gjoen intertwines his skull with delicate blossoms, creating a captivating contrast between beauty and mortality. The flowers are carefully- placed, cascading up and down the skateboard to symbolise the cyclical nature of life and death.
