Original artwork description:

My studio is near to a man-made pond at a local university and I walk past it most evenings and spend a long time taking in the beautiful and still reflections at night.. I find it incredibly tranquil and calming and wanted to try to capture that feeling in this painting, which forms part of an ongoing series. The piece is painted on artists' canvas on a one inch stretcher and could be hung as is, as the edges are painted in white primer and clean, although a dark frame would work best in my opinion.

I have used Winsor and Newton artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of light-fastness and permanence. The painting is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
