Original artwork description:

This is Alexander’s interpretation or rather his impressions and attempt to visualise music and stories of old folk songs from Scotland. “Scotland, its history, nature, and people always impressed and fascinated me. This fascination found its reflection in my art”.

Complex technique of multiple layers of semi-transparent oil paint of red and green colours applied to canvas one after another in addition to contrasting bright lines allowed Alexander to reach this almost three-dimensional effect in the painting.

The artwork is framed in custom made wooden frame of golden colour. Framed size 168x138x3 cm. The artwork will be shipped securely packed in a box.
