Original artwork description:

The watercolor painting "Ancient church at the foot of Meteor. Greece" was painted from nature during my plein air travel in Greece in 2021.

For several days I have been living in Kalambaka, a city at the foot of Meteor and did not know that there is a beautiful ancient temple with a bell tower of the 11th century.

All day I walked and sat near the temple, looked at the paintings inside, and then in the evening when the sun was setting powerful Meteor rocks in the background and the trees were in the shadows, and the temple and the bell tower were illuminated by the warm orange evening sun.

When I saw this combination of light and shadow, I immediately realized this is what I had been waiting for all day, I immediately got down to work and drew this plot.

The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

Watercolor painting technique is special and very different from other painting techniques. The advantages and features of watercolor painting are that it is difficult to repeat. The picture is created in a single copy, it is a unique work of art and no one else will have such a picture.

All the proceeds from the sale of my paintings go to the realization of my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus that I will equip and will live in, travel and paint in it.
