A few days ago I spent time watching the wind rippling and making waves across a large field of barley. The wave movement gave me the idea for this Painting. Painted on a Burnt Sienna ground An Ocean of Barley is ready to hang, some colour from the composition is continued on the edges to give a soft line when it is hanging on a wall . Signed in pencil bottom right, titled signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed in a box dispatched with a track and trace identity.
