Original artwork description:

This 24x24 acrylic painting is on Dura-Lar, an impermeable but permanent painting surface somewhat like acetate or mylar. I've added powdered pigments and the paint has been moved along the surface using various marking techniques in order to create a surface that is intensely dynamic. I love the intense colors, the movement and energy, the sense of elation that I think arises when this is looked at, both at a distance and up closely.
