This piece melds colour fields of an abstracted distant forest and sky, with a more impressionistic foreground of a path receding into the distance through a line of trees in a warm autumnal brown. The colour harmonies seem to give the painting its own internal coherence despite its stylistic diversity. The piece is a composite of my memories and feelings about the fall, the colours I have seen and the places I have been. It is a collage of my rememberings of autumn.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness. It is painted on professional quality Italian fine grain stretched canvas by Belle Arti measuring 40 cm by 40 cm.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

All paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated.

I endeavour to estimate shipping charges as accurately as possible. In the event of overcharging, I will refund the difference through Artfinder, and will bear the cost of any undercharging myself.
