Autumn at the royal pond speaks for itself a lot. The pond is surrounded by many antique sculptures, flower beds, oaks, some of which are up to 300 years old - that is, they saw the Queen with their own eyes. As evidenced they keep small plaques on their trunks as medals.
The pond is good at any time of the year. It's true. But showered with golden highlights, it can't be compared to anything. The palace itself is called Chinese Palace and is really filled with all sorts of precious things from China and the interior is designed in Chinese style. The palace is one-story, very cozy and simple. There are many windows and large glass elegant doors.
I go to paint here every year. This is the coziest place, sheltered from the ugliness of some samples of everyday life, soft lines in everything. And I not only work, but also rest. I really love beautiful places. Places where people live well. Where they are happy. The more happy people are, the happier I am.
And I already feel a little like a king in my life myself when I touch such beauty.
The work is painted in one breath, in fact a la prima. From nature. Canvas with coarse strong fiber, oil paints – I have not been saving on paints for a long time – I take only the best. The palette knife, the solvent, the apple aroma of the lovely leaves, the slight swaying of the still gentle wind - all this was absorbed into the etude. And I present it to your attention.
