I painted this watercolor painting of a pier on the Fraser River in Vancouver one sunny afternoon in the summer of 2016. This pier is pretty popular with fishing enthusiasts around the city and people living around the neighbourhood also love to come there for a nice walk on it. It was a very clear day so in the background I could see the top of Mount Baker in Washington State which is just across the Canadian border.
