Original artwork description:

This piece is from a small and playful body of paintings and drawings (that I'm calling my Taster Menu series), based upon pages from my earlier sketchbook work.

The series was originally conceived as a limited run of mini artworks for a pop-up project which took place at the A Plus A Gallery during the opening week of the 2015 Venice Biennale. The exhibition was part of a Rob Pruitt event; Pruitt being an American artist who organises similar art events all around the world; including a Xmas Artists' Flea Market at the Tate Modern, London, where the likes of YBA artists Tracey Emin and Gavin Turk manned stalls, selling their wares.

Because of the positive response to the work, and because they've been fun to work on, I've decided to continue the series for a little longer. I also like the fact that they offer a fun and affordable way of collecting small but original pieces from my body of work, without having to pay the £2000-£20000 price tag that my larger pieces fetch in the galleries.

The majority of the paintings and drawings in this series are executed on 20 x 15 cm blocks (some pieces vary in size so check the individual artwork listings for exact sizes) of 1.8 cm thick plywood, and designed to hang unframed, as wall plaques.

Note : commissions available for similar versions of all sold out pieces from the Taster Menu series.

Postage costs cover postage, packaging, insurance, tracking and a signature.
