Original artwork description:
A patriotic still life depicting one of our past American flags behind a table containing a still life of bottles and vase of various colors. I used a glazing technique using many layers of glazed paint on top of one another to achieve dimension. It is presently framed in a green wooden frame. I was inspired to show my patriotism and love for being an American citizen which I hope was expressed through this painting. It is special because of this fact and because of the lengthy glazing technique that I used in this particular painting.
