Charcoal drawing of nude female.
For this one I wanted to keep things light, exploring how much is needed to achieve something interesting. I prefer hinting at things as opposed to spelling everything out. Something must be left between the lines.
My drawings are done on high quality paper, treated with several layers of fixative to protect from smudging and fading. You can hang them directly on your wall, but framing is usually preferred.
I carefully package my work for international shipment. The drawings are rolled into cardboard tubes, which are rolled in corrugated cardboard, then placed in thick-walled cardboard boxes. (See photos of packaging in the “Me at work” section of my profile).
